Default does summer heat hurt car audio equipment

i have looked high and low on google about this and have found nothing on it. so when i get in my truck i sometimes feel my amp to see if its hot and it has been always hot for the past 3 days. i havent bumped it too much on the way to work and i keep my windows open when its park at my job so it stays cool. does summertime heat build up in the cab cause damage to car audio equipment

I wouldn't worry about it.
Good quality equipment, which you have, is designed for the environment it is to be used in.

Have you looked for info on test conditions that are used for car audio?

The main thing you have to worry about is your amp. Amps have a Thermal protection mode where if they get too hot(I mean if the PC board gets too hot) it'll shut itself down to prevent it from further damage. So to answer your question, no.

you could leave your window cracked if you're that worried. your amp should have a fan in it that will help cool it off as soon as it turns on, if possible keep it mounted as low in the cab as possible, and out of direct sunlight

well i have it mounted on a custom made box behind my seat and i know for a fact that a 2010 zx 750.1 mono block kicker amp does not have a fan in it. also when i put my seat all the way back it covers the amp a little bit but no that much to cause it overheat from being played at high volume
