not to shabby for my 1 12"
Do you think this would sound better with a ported box? Or if it was aimed to the side/ across my truck instead of up?

Re: not to shabby for my 1 12"
Thanks man. I installed this system before I got my license. But now im thinking about making a ported box that is aimed to the side instead of up. I have heard from a few people that it will sound better

Nice... I especially liked the sound of Mario getting his mushroom powerup at the 17 second mark.

Re: not to shabby for my 1 12"
sounds good man, I'm not sure how it will sound to the side, but mine faces the rear of the cab with like 1" of space between the speaker and cab, and its loud, way louder than when i had it facing straight up. Also, ported will be louder, but less crisp, but for the type of music you just played, you won't notice.

Re: not to shabby for my 1 12"
Well I listen to everything. That's why I only have 1 12". I like being able to turn it down when I want. And it would be kinda hard for me to aim it back I think. Im probably going to make a ported box and aim the sub to the side and see how it sounds. Hopefully its better

Re: not to shabby for my 1 12"
Should sound good man, that's why I only have a single 10, still goes louder than I need it and listen to it so no point in anything more.

A ported box will make it louder, yes.

yes, aim the port towards the passenger side. keep the sub firing upwards though, be sure to design your new box with the appropriate airspace/tuning for your sub. L7 or L5?
