Default new door speakers and radio

this week end i bought a kenwood deck and four kicker 6x8 and when i installed i turned the volume up and it there was static in the speakers.
i thought maybe the deck was bad so i took it out and installed my old one well still static not in the subs just the door speakers. thought maybe bad connection pulled everything out checked the connections they were all good. then i tought maybe the speakers are junk so i took the new kickers out and put thw old polk audio in and this is weird they had static with music to at high volumes. i know all the speakers are good because i got a regular house radio and hooked the spealers to it and they work perfect. but my radio is 50x4 watts peak power and like 18 watts rms my speakers are 180 peak power and 65 rms could i burn the radio up buy having that heavy of a load on it?

It should be fine for that head unit. Check the wiring again

What are the ground points for the radio and the sub amp?

And from where are you connecting those speakers when they work perfect?

the ground is factory for the head unit and the frame for the amp.
and when they were working perfectly it was on a old house stero you plug in the wall with pos neg terminals for speakers. i checked my wiring and everthing is fine. also i read on the net to ground each speaker? and if there was one speaker bad would it cause all of them to have static?thanks

if you're willing to run the speakers directly with speaker wire you can eliminate head unit and head unit wiring as the cause and focus on finding out whats wrong with your speaker wires. Or just disconnect one speaker at a time to see if one set of speaker wires is causing the static.

you were saying you had subs, Is your power wire to your amp near those speaker wires? Could possibly cause interference? Just a guess

If what Justin suggested about the power wire to your amp is true, move that to step one.

the power wire is ran under the truck in flex pipe and comes threw the driver side rear of the right in front of the hump on the back wall i believe its good because it was fine befor i put the new deck in i had pioneer that skiped so i went to best buy bought a mid priced kenwood thinking it would help. and i saw the kicker speakers on sale for 65.00 per two so bought them the only thing i changed was were the speakers connect to the wire i put the connectors the speakers come with them then i installed the new kenwood deck the by soldering the deck harness to the colored wire on the factory harness as instructions says i put the shrink wrap to protect the solder from shorting out and thats all i did. what i dont understand is it worked befor i installed the kenwood deck. and i thought about doing what you stated about replaceing the factory speaker wire with 12 gage but im not sure it would be any better than stock?

----------

is it possible there was a short some were and damaged the wires feeding the speakers?

if one component speaker has a bad connection would it effect the other speakers? the reason i ask is because i took all my kicker speakers but the rear left then i put my old ones back in but that one and i faded the rear out and when i did that the static went away. i really dont understand i. thanks

Shouldn't affect it at all because they are connected by two separate speaker wires... Unless those two wires shorted eachother or something? Try running a new wire for each speaker? I mean that's the only thing i can think of... Maybe make sure the harness behind your head unit is all good and nothing is dangling around and possibly grounding and/or shorting?
