I need to secure a speaker box to the back of a 2010 ranger reg cab... on the back on the bottom on that one section that is about 7 inches in width. is it safe to use some L brackets screwed onto box and then sheet metal screws to the bottom?? any ideas?? I also was thinking of going to home depot and getting some aluminum strips and bending them and screwing them to front of box and then securing them to the seat's bolts.

any risk of drilling through some lines or wires??
