if you were me.... another sub question
Iv been lookin at getting a new sub as of right now I have a.Boston g3 with a passive radiator it sounds very good, very clear but I would like more power i. Was.thinking around 600 watts or 1200 with a fi q sub but I thought that would be a bit much, so I was thinking of getting 2 infinity kappa 12 With A Boston gt 600 watt amp. I know how the infinity's sound as iv had one before. How ever an chance for me to buy a older eclipse aluminium 12 arose. It handles 500 watts and I can get it for 200 used. I know eclipse made very good drivers back then but I would like more input . If you need more info let me know.
And for those who may have had this sub how would it sound in a ported box and a what frequency should it be tuned at I was thinking around 30 to 33 at the most. Or do you think its more suited to a sealed application. It's specs say either-or but I know there exeptions were the specs sugest ported but the sub exels in a sealed box
