Default found a perfect grommet for amp power wire... wut u think....

2010 ranger XL. reg cab stick shift....

driver's side towards the bolt that secures the belt at floor towards the edge near the back of the black plastic piece that has about 4 screws near the big RANGER PLASTIC PIECE... YOU PULL THE grommet FROM OUTSIDE and you see that black rubber floor straight inside of truck perfect.... I dont risk my knife breaking wires and stufff....

QUESTION WILL THE AMP POWER WIRE SURVIVE RAIN, AND A FEW SAND STORMS... if i run it under the ranger on the edge away from moving parts and stuff??? i AM THINKING OF RUNNING 10 GAUGE OR EVEN 8 GAUGE? DOES THE BRAND ROCKFORD FOSGATE HAVE GOOD THICK JACKET OVER THE COPPER WIRING OR AM i BETTER OFFF WRAPPING IT IN SOME TYPE OF BLACK PLASTIC CONDUIT FOR PROTECTION. WHERE I will move to weather gets up to 120 degrees. i guess it dont matter cuse inside of cabin will get hot to....

You have got to wrap it/cover it somehow if you run it outside like you are describing.
Is there is no other place on the firewall to run it?

run it inside unless you are going to do it the right way and you SHOULD NOT power any amp with 10g wire thats stupid small you are going to be drawling so mutch power the wire will get hot because of the restriction. get 6g wire if its a smaller amp,

your question is very confusing. yes a wire will survive but its only protected with plastic, something could easily cut it if it was in view, a rock or anything. audio conduit is the best solution for running a power wire outside of the cab. it is very safe and durable

If you run it outside the truck you don't need to cover it. It will be fine. For wiring, go to walmart and just buy their Schosche 6g wiring kit. And no matter what you hear about car audio, DO NOT BUY A CAPACITOR. They're junk.
