Question Antenna modification is in order.

My antenna keeps swiping the underground parking garage door on the way out and also on the way in. Is there a shorter version for a replacement that would not compromise signal strength?

I've looked on ebay, nothing really except for them ugly stubbies.

it's just that when I hear it hit, it hurts me inside. You have to understand the connection between man and machine. :-(

i pulled mine out of its base, cut it short enough to clear the garage door and then brazed it back into the base. works great

I only have 76" height clearance to get down, once i'm down, there is alot more head room. It's a bitter sweet relationship. No bodylift room, yet the truck is stored indoors.
