Default down fire box

has anyone ever heard or seen a box has the subs faceing the floor? if so how does it sound?

I've done a few center console builds with downfiring subs (none in rangers before though) and as long as you give yourself enough room between the floor and the bottom of the box, you'll be fine and it will sound good.

A buddy of mine has one with two 12's in it. It sounds good enough to get him pulled over last weekend in Daytona Beach. LOL

My sub fires down at the floor. There is probably 5 inchs between the sub and the floor. Only thing that sucked is i made it a little to big and had to loose my stock cupholders

i heard they hit harder when facing down im in the process of makeing one for two cvx 12" vented each side of the box is 3.11 cubic feet pretty big hoping its going to sound alright. thanks guys

Yea there my redneck cup holders. ONly having the 2 front ones are not enough.

im kinda worried about how they are going to sound in the 3 cubic feet box the specs are saying the max cubic feet for the subs are 2.25 and my box adds up to 3.11 what you guys think?
