need some help wiring stereo antenna

well i tried putting a new antenna on my truck over the weekend (wire was cut behind the glove box) and had gotten some advice from people on this site. many people told me to attach a string to the wire while i pull it out so that way i can feed it right back through. did that, and with my luck when i got to the end of the wire there was no string... now i'm left with trying to feed it through manually, and i cant figure out where the hole behind the glove box is to feed it through. anyone have any pictures/diagrams of where this is that could help me out? i'm about ready to take it somewhere and see how much it will cost to have it done...

Have you tried feeding the wire the other way? From the antenna hole on the fenderwell into the truck,and then getting under the dask and finding it pokeing out near the glove box?

yep..did that for a while, but i cant see in the fenderwell well enough to find the hole in the firewall. thinking about taking the hood off and using the spot where the hinge goes as a way to look into the fenderwell..
