anyone here who has an aftermarket system, either just subs or all out, post here. i'm curious to see what ya'll have. heres mine:
Pioneer DEH-4800 tuner


4 Pioneer 6x8" 3-ways


Pioneer 760W amp


2 Pioneer 600W 10" subs


along with Sirius Satellite Radio.

I just have one 12" Eclipse sub in a sealed box and an old Alpine amp. Total power is 250 watts bridged. Also I have a Panasonic head unit and Pioneer door speakers.

Sorry for the huge pics... im not too great with this... this is my system.. Kicker L7 15 Dual 2 ohm hooked up to a KX1200.1 amp.. Everything is ran by my Alpine Headunit.. I love this stuff way too much...lol Oh yeah... the box is a little over 3 cubic feet.... Ive got plans to try and make it bigger...

I mean if you love music you will want one. And if you are a teen most likely you will want one..

If you're referring to the 2 or more massive subs that a lot of people have, I agree with you. Subs like that serve one purpose - to be obnoxious and disturb the peace. But I disagree about them being pointless. My sub fills in the low end like no 6x8 can.
I'm not really a "sub guy" but I love my Basslink. You would probably like the way my truck sounds. I like clean, crisp music with faithful reproduction of the entire frequency range. In other words, I'll take quality over quantity.

I've heard a lot of so-called "systems" with a ton of money dumped into them that sound like total garbage.

I just have a JL 10" in a tiny box... I put it where my left jumpseat used to be... fits perfect, looks great... nothing special but it gets the job done...
