if you have a single cab i would say no but since you have an extended cab i would say that they should fit.

its a sliding back glass wich would make it stronger i would think but i did have a solo 15 pushing 2000 watts at 1 ohm that shattered my explorer back class.

You won't break the glass. I've seen a guy with 2 15's on about 2200w flex his back wall/glass like crazy for a long time now and not have any troubles. Also, I'd do one big box. Subs and port facing up. Have the box sit on the little ledge in the back of the cab and then you can sit your amp underneath of it.

2 L7 15inch subs in an x-cab would probably crack the rear window (non-slider) if you had the right dimensions for them, and 2000+ watts... lol you should be fine.. i have 900 watts running to a 12in kenwood in a pretty good size box... hits haaarrrrdddd!! lol

False. Now lets think about this.... a big piece of glass that's like what? 4' long? Compared to a piece that's about 1'x8"?

OP, you're not going to be breaking any glass.
