Default 2 8"s or 1 12", or both. (Need Advice)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and Rangers in general. I'm about to get a 2000 3.0 xtd cab. I've been compiling stereo equipment that I'm going to put in and I want to make sure i get the configuration right. So I'm calling on you guys for any advice you have on the direction I should take with what I have (more specifically with my subs and amp). I don't know a whole lot about mobile audio other than installing a head unit. But i have been reading up alot to kind of get an idea.

Head unit:
Alpine iDA-X305s w/the ktp445 power pack
-For me this was a no-brainer, i have an iphone and use pandora all the time.

Factory Speaker Replacements:
4x Pioneer TS-D6802R 6x8's

So after these two purchases I was pretty low on cash. I had decided to pass on some subs and an amp, until I ran into somebody who was pretty much just giving this stuff away so I took them off his hands for a small amount of money (atleast I thought it was). Try not to flame too much, I know some this stuff is pretty cheap, but its what i got to work with.

Subs:
2 Kicker comp 8's 4ohms (100w RMS/200 max) SVC - 1 inch and a half port on each box (plan on plugging it)
1 Kicker comp 12" 4ohms (150w RMS/300 max) SVC -sealed box

Amp:
Nitro BMW-486 (200w x 2 RMS at 4ohms) (600w x 1 RMS bridged) 2ohm stable

Cap:
Power Acoustik 6 farad digital

The head unit and 6x8's are pretty straight forward. But I'm pretty confused on what I should do with the sub and amp rig. I want to get as much clean punchy bass as possible (if possible). I know these subs are rated pretty low, but after researching I know they are capable of taking a beating. I looked over a few wirings that I might be able to use:

1.) Parallel wire all three subs bridged
-Max power to all three speakers. Will drop impedance to 1.33 ohms. Amp is rated
2ohms so I don't think it will run stable. But i'm not an expert.

2.) Series wire all three subs bridged
- Will raise impedance to 12 ohms. Very little power (50-75w per sub at best?).
But fail safe.

3.) Run the 12 through one channel and wire the two 8's together on another.
- Not sure what will happen with this one but i know it's not great to have the amp
run unbalanced. I believe this is how to previous owner ran them.

4.) Ditch the 8's and run just the 12 bridged.
- Will send 600w to the sub. It's only rated for 300 max but I can always turn the
and bass level all the way down.

5.) Ditch the 12 and Parallel wire the two 8's.
- Drops impedance to 2 ohms. 300 watts per speaker to speakers rated at 200 max.
Should run stable.

So I don't know whats better. Run 3 speakers w/ lower power but stable. Or just go with the two 8's or just one 12. I'm leaning more twards just running one 12. I'm not a master of car audio.

So yeah that's it, I'd like to hear some input from you guys. Thanks
