Question About Radio Receiver
I have been looking for a little while on getting a sweet double din head unit. The one that is on the top of my list is the Kenwood DNX9960. I have a small Garmin that sticks up on the windshield and it does come in handy when needed, but I would like to clean it up a little so that is why I would like to stick with the Garmin Nav and Kenwood offers that. But on to my question... I have a TON of music. I don't use the MP3 format. I mainly use FLAC, APE, WAV, and Apple Lossless because of the quality. So that basically means I can fill a 250GB - 750GB hard drive easy with a TON of tunes. I did some reading and found the Kenwood would only support WAV, none of the other formats. So what I am wondering if I set up a external USB hard drive the size of 500GB or 750GB, how does the music layout look on the Kenwood (guessing it categorizes by artist name, album, track number, name and so on)? Does it take a TON OF TIME to load list of music, because I have never seen it in person? I know I could hook up my Ipod to the unit but even after doing the 240GB hard drive upgrade on my Video Ipod, I have maxed it out, haha. If anyone has some insight to give, please feel free to speak up. If you have another headunit experience that you would like to tell me about, please do so... Thanks everyone.
