Default Anyone have a 15'' in their truck?

I was probably gonna get a 15" powerbass 3xl sub. It doesn't come with a box, so I'm just wondering if I'll be able to fit this behind one of my seats?

If any of you have a single 15'', tell me what it's like.

Thanks!

Yes it will fit fine. I have an 8'' in a bazooka tube. It gets down for what it is.

No but I have a box big enough to fit a 15 and I've seen it done before. Like this

Okay? OP asked about a 15 so I showed him what a 15 in the back of a ranger looks like

I don't like that much boom right by my ear. One 12'' is all you will want. It is a small space and you will go deaf.

Yeah we all have different opinions on what sounds good for us. But I wanted to fit a single 15 only behind my seat. Pieper88, thank you so much for the pic. But that wouldn't work for me.

I'm only seein 15's that are taking up the whole ex cab..is it possible to make one that fits only behind the sit and not take up the whole ext cab space? Thats what I wanna go for, if possible. I fit 2 12''s behind the seat in a bandpass box so I'm guessing I proooobably could do it. I just wanna know if anyone HAS done it.

I've had a 15" sub in my truck since I first got it. It's an original old school 15" Kicker SoloBaric that was designed for small enclosures & the box is just a little over 1cu/ft. Easily fits behind either seat.
Not sure if anybody makes a shallow 15" sub, but that might be an option if you can't find a sub with specs that will allow a small enclosure.

Alright right on. Do you know of any boxes that are like that? And you should post of pic of your set up, if you haven't already. I googles "15'' sub box small enclosure" and found some stuff on sonicelctronics, looks alright.

It'd be nice to have a box that's big, but fits the area behinds the 1 seat. (big as in tall) so maybe a taller, narrower box? Idk I really like the waythis one looks.

Not sure if this takes the whole back or not but it looks great. Sorta what I wanted to go for. I could for sure do it with a 12'', but yeah 15''s are where it could get tricky. (space wise)

You could always just do a badass 12" like I did. Maybe??

Here's a video of a buddy of mines sub. 15" XCON SSA powered by a Sundown 1500. As you can see, his box takes up the whole back of the cab.
