Sounds sick dude, and yeah i know a 12 would be nice but out of the price range for the moment. Although, my cousin is going away for a week so atm i have 2 MTX jackhammers in a ported box in the back seat and holy s**t it pounds lol, still running 2 ohm so 500W.

Truck sounds good man, and if you wire it correctly you shouldn't need to buy a new amp to run 2 subs. Just follow the wiring diagrams and you should be good. In my truck right now is 2 10" MTX Jackhammers running off my MRP-M500 amp and it works great, although, the box is not made for a ranger so it takes up too much room in my back seat. These subs are my cousins though, so i will be putting my single 10" type r back in next week.

Yea but 500W going to 2 subs will be around 250W per sub which in that case ill just stick with my 1 sub that has around 500W going to it. My friend got the MTX terminator package(2 12's and a 600w) for christmas but he cant hook it up cuz of his car and he doesnt have a h/u. Hes thinkin of lettin me borrow it and put it in my truck but i think the box is going to be to big once it stops raining and its nice outside we are going to try to hook it up lol. Also i just got ym taxes done and i might be getting 2 alpine type r's and a 1000 watt alpine amp in a custom box......maybe. And yea post up a video of the mtx's i would like to see them in action!

----------

Did you watch my computer sound?....the aluminum wall art was shakin from that little subwoofer lol

haha yeah i saw the vid of the comp, sounds sick. I used to have my yamaha surround sound (5 speakers and sub) hooked up to my laptop, would shake the whole house haha.

Type R 10"

Jackhammer 2x10"

I got a vid, which was terrible quality of just the sound, song was random off the radio, so ill try to get a better one with my ipod and stuff later.

u shud keep the 2x10's and hook up a bigger amp lol...i like how u have ur amp set up on the wall. i might try to put the 2x12s(from my friend) in my truck. The 2x12's are obviously bigger than the 10's and im scared to put em back there and not be able to push my seat all the way back! The MTX's sound good but next time u take a video def take it in the daytime lol i cant see the subs thumpin!!!! Ranger101 here on frf is helpin me get a new system together that i will be puttin in from the tax money its going to be(what he thinks so far) 2 12" Sundown's 4ohms and an AudioPipe 1800 Mono tuned to 1ohm!

sounds sick man, and yeah i will, i just got the vid and uploaded it last night. I like the jackhammers, but i think if i get a ported box for my 10, it should almost be as loud. I dont know why my camera cant pick up the noise, that vid was taken and it was shaking the truck, so i dont know haha, ill try again today.

Yeah i like a lot of bass, but for longer drives i like just a bit (my average drive is 1-3 hours) so my single 10 is plenty for what i need. I am currently uploading the 3rd video and then i will link them to this when it is done, but got 2 more of the jackhammers. I was scared to do it this loud being as it was 10 degrees F, so the glass and everything was cold, but whatever haha

I totally agree, it does, but for the music i listen too, and for the sub, a ported will sound better for my 10". Although, for rock and roll, the bass is very tight with the sealed, which is why i wont sell the box, i'd keep both

that sounds sick bro and i really like the first song in the first video!!! i like in the second video u tried to catch the bottle but epicly failed!! Well i went to the audio place(i know the owner) and i decided to go with these badass kenwood 10" shallow subs in a ported box hooked up to a 1000W amp(forgot the name) and ill be addin a cap in there. All this MSRP for $800(Installed) he said he can prob get it down to $650!! Now i just have to wait until i get my taxes!!!!!!

haha yeah, i wasn't expecting it to roll off that fast and i was cold, ah well :P and the first song was Nothin' by Tech N9ne, second song was You ain't know by Birdman and Lil Wayne. Sounds like a sweet deal man! I'd do that for sure! and yeah those will be gone tommorow though, ill have my 10" back in, which still pounds, just not as much haha
