Well not like an adult type person but like a kid (say my brother or sister). And or some storage space to put some few luggage or groceries in the back when I'm shopping for food or going on a vacation.

----------

I don't have a tonneau cover so trying to make as much room as possible in the back yet still have my two 12's that still makes good sound.

yes thats the route im taking. A proper ported box for 1 12" will be louder than 2 12s crammed into a sealed box any day. Hell i did 140 dbs in my ranger with one 12.

Really?! If that's the case, get me a suggestion on box and I'll do it lol.

well i got your sub specs but what kind of music do you primarily listen to. Rock or low low bass rap like gorilla zoe and what have you. From there you take the recommended specs, pick a tuning frequency based on your music taste and vehicle, Then crunch space numbers to get the right cubic footage. Other than that you need to decide which way you want the subwoofer and port to face. Up, sideways, down firing etc.

This is the box you need to build. I custom built this box myself. It holds 4 10" subs. It stretches from one side of the cab to the other. Both jump seats have to be removed. Both front seats have to come out to get the box in/out.

This is big for your app. But, you can build the same thing just maybe 2/3's of this, that way you can keep one seat in the back.

It also doubles a a dog bed! evidence of the hair all over it! damn dog lol

Oh, and dont mind my use of "door Hardware" to hold my wires down, its all I had at the moment! lol

I listen to mainly country lol. And yes I can bump it to country ex. Taylor Swift- Haunted . For bass, songs like "I know you want me" by Pitbull or " I put on" by Young Jeezy or some techno nowadays. Nothing hard like hard rock or heavy metal or Rap that I can't even understand lmao. Hope that helps.

That's awesome looking! Door handles FTW! Redneck style love it lol. I would love something like that but I want my subs to be seen. That and I have no clue how to built one properly and all that

im far from maryland and shops charge way too much. If you have a friend whose good with wood a sheet of 3/4 inch mdf wood, wood glue, 2 inch drywall screws, and silicone. Its not hard once you have it drawn out. Theres some awesome port calculators on line too you just type in the inside volume and desired tuning frequency and port size and itll give you the rest. RE box calculator will even give you a cut sheet.

Well if you can provide me some links on where to go to get the stuff or software to use for this project, I can build one. I just remembered, I was in a carpentry class and graduated from it .

more simple port calculator take your time and pm me and ill plug the numbers into win isd to double check if you dont wana download win isd which is free all over the web but slightly more complicated.

When they say box volume they mean usable air space so your boxes internal volume should be that plus .15 cubic feet for your sub, and however much air your port displaces. Make sure the external dimensions accumulate for the woods thickness. If you decide on 1.3 cubes your boxes inside usable air space should be that. Not the outside dimensions.

Some basics

caraudio.com has millions of references for this. Start with that and feel free to pm me with questions.

I love mine, except mine it the 10" Ill put some more pictures up so you can see, and it only takes up the drivers side jump seat, and for a little 10", I dont even run mine at full output and its pretty loud.
