Default Ford f150, f250, f350 radio in truck?

So im going to make my own mounting brackets, and modify and cut where the radio goes in etc, my question is will the wiring harness work for radio's from f15, f250, or f350? I have a link to one of the radio's that look pretty deecent and need to know if it would match up or if my wiring harness can be modified to match it? 93 ranger xl reg cab auto 3.0

i know for sure that radio wont plug into your stock radio harness and unless you get a wiring diagram for that model radio you will have a hard time knowing what each wire does and where to splice it into your stock wiring harness. plus youll have to cut a huge hole in your dash because that new one is a double din and your 93 has a single.

I dont mind cutting the whole and modding it etc, but is it possible to do and how hard would it be, ive never done anything with headunits or speakers etc so dont know alot about them.

IMO, unless you have a little bit of knowledge about doing this sort of thing i would suggest finding a good used or new after market radio (sony, Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer ect) and you can buy wiring harnesses that are pretty much plug and play as well as dash install kit. those will make it simple. what you want to do just seems like a ton of work for not much gain, OEM radios arent known for being that great in the first place and if you ever decide to add amps or better speakers the OEM radios just arent ideal for that.
