Some System Help
Alright, so i got a few questions,
I have an amp already. Kicker ZR240
I dont want a huge system for the fact that I still want use of my passenger rear jumpseat, (Driverside is getting removed for installation of stobepack).
You guys know any boxes that would be good for me to use.
I actually have a box and amp right now, but give me a while to measure it, cause if it fits nice ill just use that.

Re: Some System Help
I hear Kicker subs are hard to make boxes for that do them justice. So it's a good thing you got the box/sub as a matched assembly.

Re: Some System Help
Im fine with 150 watt subs because i dont really need any more than that, my brothers got 2 10's pushing 800watt total in his saturn and that gives me a headache.
And stuffs ordered, ill mock it up in my truck but they wont go in permanently untill it gets back from the body shop.

Re: Some System Help
Well since this thread has been brought back up i might as well post pictures of the box completed.
The place I bought it from on ebay only offered it in black just to let you guys know. I painted it and added my own personal touch, then put the amp on top, may make a enclosure around the amp and put leds around that.
.
Sits behind the drivers seat nicely, you can still go all the way back and tilt most of the way back. It will look nice when its finally installed

In the words of a good friend of mine:
You guys are doing it right!
In all reality if you broke your rear window with either of these setups you either 1. had improper deadening to the rest our your truck or 2. Your definition of "broke" is different than mine.
My ranger does low 150's in competitions and does 147-149 on music and all my windows are fine.

Re: Some System Help
^^^I have no deadening material at all! My definition of broke is spider webbed. It didn't Shatter or Blow out.
