Does it have any kind of light on it that indicates that it's on? Did you wire it up correctly?

yes its wired like this; has a good ground to frame, although i would like to know how everyone else grounds their amps out, mine was a hassle to get to the frame from the back of the cab. power wire is run from battery to the amp, and the blue remote is hooked to the deck's remote line. the power light wont come on...

ill try that tomorrow, but im preeeeeetty sure its not a bad ground, that would be an easy fix tho! my buddy buys storage units that people defaulted on their payments and he found this eclipse audio amp in one, so it could be toast. any way to check the amp itself or what might have burnt up or should i can the whole thing?

What I did to ground my amp was i peeled up the carpet behind the rear seats and there's two bolts underneath the carpet if you have a ranger with jump seats. then i just cleaned off the paint with some sand paper, and used an eyelet connector and put the bolt through that and tightend it down to the cleaned metal surface. I've never had a ground problem with that method.

i just swapped it over to the seat bolt method, and still no power :/ i have a friend with a spare amp that he knows works, i might try that, if it hooks up and works i know its the amp, if not then its something in the wiring. only a few more electrical projects before im done with electrical for a while woot woot!
