So i feel like a ramrod even asking this stuff, but since it's been 10 years since i hooked up a good system (that got stolen in front of my freakin' house), i've got some newbie-type questions. i "inherited" one of those Pep Boys SPX 2x10"sub box and 800W amp combo ... kinda like FisherPrice "My First Amplifier", i know ... and a Jensen 340W amp from a few years back. before people rag on me for the low-grade system, i don't care about top-of-the-line stuff (for now).
what is the BEST, most efficient wiring set-up to run these amps and subs? (subs: 10" 2-ohm single voice coil guessing 400W max/sub; amps: Jensen @ 2-ohms=170Wx2, @ 4-ohms=120Wx2, @ 4-ohms=340Wx1; SPX amp: who freakin' knows ... 800W?!) do i bridge the SPX amp? run the subs in parallel? in series? any way to link the 2 amps to not strain either too much or does that fry 'em?
again, sorry for being retarded, but it's been a long day at work and this is my therapy from not killing doctors!
