so, this is question is prolly addressed in another post. but for all the sites and posts ive been hunting through i cant seem to find the info. i have a 03 ranger fx4 level 2. it came stock with the cassette/cd radio. im dropping in a 2 din jensen DVD. all the factory radio wiring diagrams im finding only address 12 wires. but the harness in there has 15. what do the extra 2 wires go to? my HU doesnt appear to have a dimmer control so ill tie that wire off. so im lost as to what the other ones go to. the rig is in my buddies garage atm. and i cant remember what the color variations are. but i have the speakers wired (8wire), the power ground ignition (3wires) all wired. the dimmer(1 wire) will be tied off.
are there any 15 wire diagrams for the stock radio?

I copied these instructions from a review somewhere - hope they help

-switch to tuner mode
-press the setup button
-using the remote, press5 4 3 2 1 0 (hold 0 until the menu pops up)
-this will bring up a hidden menu that will allow you to turn the brake override on
-press the X in the lower left corner"[/font]

i figured out an easier solution and it doesn't matter if the pink wire is connected or not hidden menu pops up instantly. thanks guys for all your input.

Hit Setup On Remote.
Select Language.
Get Remote And Hit 5,4,3,2,1,0.
Listen For Beeps. Touch "Hammer/Screwdriver" Logo.
Select Brake Override
Switch To Brake Override "ON"
Now Hit Setup On Remote.
And Now Watch Movies
