Talking sub box question

hey guys,
I have Two 12" subs but i only need to hook up one for sure... i have the amp and wires but i need dimensions for a box. i have all of the tools to build my own but lets just say my craftsmanship is a little sketchy so if you have any ideas for a cheap box that would be nice..... i have a 92 xlt so room is very very very scarce and i need to make a skinny box to fit behind the seat or in the center counsel. by center counsel i mean the arm rest down to the middle top part of the transmission in the cab(if there is a technical name for that part of the cab ).. so anything would help also advice on ported or not would be great.. thanks!

Don't look at that link, look at that site for other ideas and specs for boxes.

if ur talking about a single cab ur gona have to go with a sealed truck box. Pretty easy to design but kind of hard to build without a table saw because of the angles

i have no problems with tools cause we gotta a pretty good shop in my school where i am building it and yes i looked at the links.... i think i am going to go to best buy and just buy one if mine doesnt work.. either that or a pawn shop.. best buy has a perfect one but idk how much it costs yet because it didnt have a tag on it... btw how well did that ported work because i figuares out that i am going to have to sacrifice either moving the passanger seat up or sticking it between mine and the passengers legs... also would it be cheaper and easier to just buy a 10 inch and stick it somewhere because money isnt that big of an issue because i know where to get some 10 inchers cheap

alright guys im done it works so heres what i did. i started to build the box at school and got about half done... after i school i went to a pawn shop and saw a box that would fit perfect between mine and the passengers legs for a 12 inch so i bought it for like $15. so i got the box and after about five minutes i bought a used pioneer 760 watt amp witch is perfect cause my sub tops at 800 watts. so i put the amp behind the drivers side seat tucked in all the wires and it fit perfect. after a while my buddy came ovder and needed help with his sub (we bought our setups at the same time) and we used my amp with his setup. this whole time we were in my garage so the engine was off. after we re installed my amp and hooked everything up it didnt work. we figuared it was the ground witch we used the bolt for my seat for and we wire brushed the ground and it still didnt work. we later found out that the deck wasnt giving any output and the amp was fine. so after that whole mess we put another deck in that we had sitting around and my whole setup works great and the sub kicks hard.... a litle to hard so i got a great sounding truck for about $80 ( i will post pictures when i get home and thanks for all the posts you guys
