Default Head unit blowing fuse

Hey I just installed my pioneer headunit and i think its causing one of my fuses to keep blowing. My dash lights dont work and neither did my fog lights and my corners and my Daytime running lights. I found out it was a fuse that blew each time i turned my dashlight dimmer more than halfway up.. Im just curious whats causing this because this didnt happen until after i installed my headunit and i really need my dash lights.

As of now i replaced the fuse and just keep my dimmer down So now i have working fogs, corners and drls. But still need to get the dash lights working again...

Well, I'd start with disconnecting the wire that connects your dash lights to the new head unit. The factory head unit dims. The new one may not support that kind of function. You should look up how the lighting works on your new headunit and wire it accordingly.
