I have a 2005 Ranger FX4 with the factory Audiophile / Pioneer sound system with 290 Watts and console subwoofer. I recently bought the same exact stereo only out of a 2009 so it has the "AUX" button and a 20-pin connection on the back that my old one didn't have. I tried buying a 20-pin iPod/aux input, hooked it up, but it didn't work. I think it’s because I don't have external CD changer controls. Any ideas how I can hook up an aux input to this stereo? How is the factory aux wired in newer Rangers?

See if there is a defferent wiring harness needed from the factory. If not, then I have another idea. Also, are you willing to sell your original stereo from 05 and the sub? Or do you only have what is in the truck?
