Search the "let's see your system reg cab edition" or something similar. A lot of people posted pics. Its def possible. There are a couple thin line subwoofers that are pretty good. Jl tw5. Alpine type s. Kicker cvr I think mounts shallow. Browse the thread and see what you like

not even a special sub, best part=free back massage when listening to metal!

fits tight between the window ledge and floor. you have to take out your cargo tray but not your jack. all you need is a jigsaw some mdf some rug that matches your interior and a staplegun, also if your cuts are sloppy youll need somekind of sealant. ill post the measurements tomorrow.

make your own box. i made one that is 36" wide 12.5" tall 5" bottom depth and 3" top depth. alpine type R 8's need only .15 sealed or .25 ported with only 4 1/2" mounting depth. look into some shallow mounts.

EDIT: you have a 2003 so you have even more room than me.

The newer model rangers only have 31 inches between the two speakers behind the seats. Also, can you post some pictures so I can see what kind of design you used?

i havnt put it together yet as im making it at my school but its just a wedge shape. i have two seperate chambers each about .4. once im finished i can pm you some pics, just pm in case i forget.

but they have a few extra inches in depth. id just take out the rears and get a good component front stage then you get more room.

Good job. I know of a single 8" ported setup with a JL Audio W3 sub that outputs 128 db.
