Question Kenwood KFC-P680C Speakers in Rear?

I just got a new to me 2003 Ford Ranger XL regular cab. It has a Kenwood deck in it already, but factory speakers in the door and no speakers in the back. I was thinking of buying some Kenwood KFC-P680C speakers to put in all around. However, according to Crutchfield they will fit the front but not the back. I was under the impression the holes were both 6x8", am I missing something?

So, backup plan would be to put them in the front and put some KFC-P509PS speakers in the back. They are component tweeters though and I don't really want to cut the paneling in the cab at all to install. What if I just installed the woofer w/o the tweeter in the back? I can't imagine much of the high frequencies gets past the seat back anyhow? Or, perhaps mount the tweeters up front somewhere?

Thoughts or suggestions?

Tweeters on A-Pillars and speakers in front door spots. My opinion!

I am going to try a pair of the Kenwood KFC-P680C speakers in the doors first and see how that works. It might be plenty of speaker as the cab isn't that big. Not to mention, the rear speaker spots fire right into the back of the seat so I can't imagine that is a big benefit anyhow, perhaps for bass.

Does anyone know if those Kenwood speakers I picked out can be bi-amped?

there is no need for components in the rear unless you're running a killer system. other than that... just run coax.

Should I be ordering these adapters for installing the speakers or do you guys just cut and solder?
