I still have mine. Haven't drove it in months. It's sitting on a battery tender to keep the battery charged

I really don't want to keep a headunit. If I do keep a headunit, I will need to move it to the center console or somewhere else out of the way and out of sight. I really would like to delete a headunit all together and use the iPad as the headunit. With a small amp behind the dash like the alpine power pack. And using a lot to hook up the steering wheel controls to the iPad directly.

I think the iPad mini would fit, iPad would probably be a little too big, do you have one you could use as a size reference?

Re: Show Your System
Checkout Doug Bernards (Soundmanca) on youtube for tons ipad install video's.
In the old video's he makes them out of fiberglass and now he has the prefabed injection moulded kits.
I use one of his kits for my iphone 6+ as my headunit.

I held it up and it's a perfect fit. A lot of people I read online just tape it up behind the cluster. Don't have to remove anything.

Yeah I looked him up. Not sure if I would want to shove the aftermarket headunit in the dash or removing it and wiring everything seperate.

Re: Show Your System
Swapped in the 130a alternator off of a 1998 Ford Taurus onto my 1990 bronco 2 system should be a lot happier now that the amp can get the power it needs
