With good sound quality for under 75 a piece?

Pretty vague question.

Our trucks have openings for speakers that allow for most 5x7 and 6x8 speaker sizes.

My suggestion, do some research and educate yourself.

It can be a fun (and expensive) hobby to get into.

Your right, I probably do need to educate myself a bit more, but if someone on here can just tell me what type of speaker will fit my truck from experience that would honestly be more helpful so then I can leave that part of research out and save myself some time, I believe my question was answered though with 5 by 7's

I'm not currently in a position to buy myself speakers as my brakes just took a shit and I need to fix them, but it doesn't hurt me to start researching now so I have an idea of what I want when I do come to the time to replace them

The reason people are not giving you one size: some people (including myself) want to use other drivers besides the 5 by 7s. 5 by 7 isnt necessarily a bad size, but because its fairly limited in terms of the automotive world (not many if any manufacturers besides ford use/used it), not all speaker manufacturers make their speakers in that size. For example, I just got some JBL P660C component speakers- they are only available in 6.5 inches. Another example: HAT Imagine convertible components- very popular, but not available for 5 by 7.

I modified my door and installed mdf adapter plates that I made using a jigsaw- now my Ranger uses 6.5" speakers.
