I wish I could afford Audison! Lol
I've pretty much been without a system for the last 7-8 years. Finally just broke down and told the old lady it's happening.
You can go to Cartoys and they have no credit financing if that's the issue.

I'm hopefully getting ready to get a 2006 ram 2500 Cummins. So I'll be doing a system in that. Pioneer double din, Rockford fosgate punch 6x9 in front doors, 6 1/2 fosgate punch in rear doors, 10 inch fosgate punch sub in sealed box under rear seat and 500.1 Rockford amp.

Re: Show Your System
Idk that sound expensive lol. I would never put that much into a sound system unless I won the lottery. It's just not worth it for me

I'm only going to drop about $1,200 for a complete system. But, that's speakers, deck, 5 channel amp, sub, box, wiring, etc. And, I'm getting a higher quality of stuff too.
If you heard it, you'd understand

I'm not a fan of kenwood. Pretty stuck to pioneer and alpine. I want a deck with Apple car play.

When I did my system I was 17. I've got all alpine pretty much. Older alpine double din, nav brain, kicker door speakers, pb 600.4 4 channel, alpine type R 8, alpine mrv250 amp, full 4 gauge wiring. I've got probably $700 in mine. I bought the radio and nav unit second hand. They are older but I'm happy with them. Retail back in the day for the head unit and nav unit is probably around $2000-$2500. Alpine is very expensive..
For the ram I'm thinking about getting a alpine single din. I really don't need a double din.. Nice Bluetooth unit with all inputs and outputs I need. With full Rockford speakers, amp and sub. Nice and clean. Got away from loud and obnoxious. Just want nice clean sound. But don't have funds for focal right now. If I find a set second hand then I'll probably Jump on it.

Re: Show Your System
Wow. I have alpine door speakers that were in my truck when I bought it. In the rear I have pioneers that were hand-me-downs along with my sub. I got the amp for christmas and all I bought was the single din Kenwood head unit from my brothers blown up mustang, a wiring harness, and the adapter kit for the dash. $50 for all of that and that's it

That's good. Second hand you can get some good stuff. But also can get some junk stuff. I used to buy subs and Amps and resell them. When I found a good deal I would buy it. Also working at Nissan when we have trade ins sometimes people leave the amps in cars. I've got a bunch of amps from that. A couple crunch amps. I've bought an alpine type s 12 in a box with a alpine mrv500 amp for $50. Kept the amp and swapped it with a crunch amp and sold it and made money. Still have the amp. When I seen a good deal on good stuff I snatched it up and held onto it till I sold it. Was a good way to get good stuff that I wanted as well as made money.

That's awesome. I'm just gonna sell everything with my truck because it needs all the help it can get for value. I have way too much into it.

Think may change my plans with the Cummins if I end up getting it. All alpine. Type S speakers all around. Alpine cde-hd148bt head unit, single type R 10 under back seat with Mrv500 amp because I've already got it. Will be a little cheaper. Not going crazy. Running speakers off head unit power. Amp installed on back wall out of sight. It's got a full 5 inch straight pipe. So need a good system to be able to hear it. Lol.
