yah and the power it's putting out is probably distorted and will clip. I have a kicker cx 600.1 which is like their 2nd Highest model (right above the dx) and it puts out decent power and is a very compact amp. Have it on an old school re audio sx10 (1000 watts Rms) and it pushes it quite nicely.

the audio pipe big bangs are good but very power hungry. Also be careful with used hiphonics.

Re: Show Your System
So I researched the $50 boss amp I have and people are saying that they're problems with it aren't the power. It makes their alternator make a funny noise and overheats. There were mostly good rewiews. I put my sub in my bigger box and tested it out. The amp pushes it really nicely and never cut out in the 3 hours I was using it when I detailed my interior. It didn't have any of the problems other people had. I registered it for a 1 year warranty and if it lasts this long without having any problems I am just gonna keep it until it does have problems.

That's fine. But if you get a quality amp, you'll see a significant increase in sound quality.

this. That amp isn't putting out the power it's supposed to.

Re: Show Your System
I did the 40/40 seat converion and put the sub in. Next is to build the center console that I designed. (The screw is out of the grill because I still need to seal the sub in the box)
This is the amp. Sorry if the wiring is a little messy.
This is the Kenwood head unit I installed earlier last year.
I know the pictures are sideways. My phone was being stupid

Re: Show Your System
What's wrong with wire nuts? I'll solder it eventually. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, I just want to know why they are bad
