Re: Show Your System
Giving them 60-70 watts now
For real though, not gonna keep them. I try not to horde that stuff.
If none of the local FRF guys want them i'll throw them up here.

now you tell me lol. My cheapo alpine type e tweets went up in a poof of smoke last night! I broke the feaking door handle off my truck trying to get in the shut it off! Guess I will be figuring out where and how to repalce a Ranger door handle now. I kinda wanted them to blow, they were on the way out so I ordered prv 6.5 inch mid basses, tymphany 1 inch silk dome tweeters and will start out from scratch( mother in law in town this weekend, need to keep myself busy)

I never, ever want my system to sound like that. Do you even listen to music ?
----------
I have played bass guitar all my life. That is not what any bass note sounds like. Not gonna rattle my stuff apart.

The skar vvx15d2, what kind of power can you put to them? I have heard of people putting 1000 rms to them. They are rated at 600rms. I'm gonna run it at 2 ohm with probably a 4.0 cu box ported at 35hz. Also how are the skar Amps? Would it be worth getting the skar 1500.1? Or getting a different amp? I'm planning on using this sub in my excursion when I get it. Will be using a apple car play pioneer head unit and running all 6 door speakers off the head unit. As I do not feel like wiring in a 4 channel amp. Keeping it simple.

Yes, the excursion stock has 6 6x8 speakers. 2 for front seats, in each door, 2 for middle seats in each door and 2 in the back for the rear seats.
