So guys I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered a sundown sa 12! What would u all suggest I look for in an amp? The sub is 4 ohm. I was thinking maybe a 1500.1?

Dual 4?
If you want longevity out of it I wouldn't go more than 7-800 rms @ 2 ohm (if dual 4)

I am so not very happy with the sound of the Pioneer 5x7's I just installed. I may need a better head unit to control my system better but it sounds like crap! and yes , all my +'s and -'s are right

what HU do u have? I have a pioneer single din and pioneer door speakers and it powers them great!

How are you gonna put the sundown 12 in a single cab? Thought you were going with 8s?

was gonna go with the 8's but I won't have this truck much longer anyway and behind the seat. In a box like this one that was posted on here I believe.

Ive never heard of sundown, looking at a site with them. Suckers look beast!

dc, sundown, skar ( same as sundown) , mclaren, incriminator, American bass, soundqubed ( a little cheaper than most but not as good as others )

I am. Working on my vocals. I still love my bass but am more impressed by clarity. Check out my friends at mclaren audio. They just built a sick demo vehicle that's loud and clear

I had a loud sub setup. Now I have 1 8 and I love the sound. Nothing is overpowering. Nice clean clear music
