I like it!

Although I'm a little sad I didn't get to see a 160 officially out of the expedition, this setup looks really cool. I always love a good street setup.

Mid to high 54's?
My buddy has the same amp kicking around, I was impressed to say the least. George makes a good product!

The Expedition did a best of 160.9 at a show, I ended up damaging the actual structure of the roof, only way to repair was to cut the wall out. After that I just did not have the heart to rebuild

Box in the pic is actually my Stock Hatch 1 box which was designed to work on ~2k. Actually did a 149.xx sealed with 2 el cheapo 2" coil woofers on 1690 clamped. Was testing it with bigger woofers and the 5k but will be rebuilding to a different design to do Stock Hatch 2.

Seriously, I love loud music and bass, but at what point do you have to start wearing earplugs when you drive?

Those guys are talking about competition builds. They have contests all the time for it. "DB drags"

Yeah, I get it, it's a hobby too and something to get into, but I'm just saying when is enough enough with a stereo system not made for competition? That's all. The dude who hooked my stereo up was only a few years older than me and couldn't hear for shit he'd been exposed to blasting stereos for too long.

ehh. It's like an addiction. Instead of drugs it's loud bass and crystal clear vocals

Anything over 100 db causes almost immediate hearing damage when directly exposed. It's cumalative. You might not realize it now or then but you will sooner or later and the more you are exposed the worse it gets and will get as you age.

Just be careful people. If you have to wear some earplugs to get your bass on, please do it.
