160 amps x 14.4 volts = 2304 volt/amps

Assuming the amp is around 75% efficient that would make it around 1700w.

With rock solid electrical (no voltage drop) it might do that 1800w.

We could pretty much end this "i say, you say" debate if we knew the fuse amperage, math doesn't lie.

It's just car audio folks, no need to get excited unless you got new stuff to play with, which is always fun.

Ah I see. Just curious. There's not much on the Internet about it. And from what I do see people say it's a rare amp. Also my audiobahns I got them pretty much new a couple years back. Still in the original crates with the paperwork.

You guys are going back and fourth about your $500ish &$700ish amps

Meanwhile in sitting here enjoying my $80 audiopipe getting like 12-1300 watts on a good day for the past 3 years now. And im ok with that lol

Im well aware that it's a "junk" amp, but it can take some abuse

Doesn't matter how much the stuff cost. If your happy with it who cares! I have no idea what my amp is worth. Assuming not much. I bought it for $100 a couple years back and I think I got the subs for like $60. My favorite amp that I have by far is an ancient profile baja 200watt. I love that thing.

This one lol http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=131021339362

Cheaper stuff is also easier to replace when you hit the DOOF, OONCE & WUB to hard.

If Class AB, assume 50% efficiency. If Class D, assume 80%.

A class a/b would be "surfboard" sized to get that kind of rating wouldn't it?

I used the 75% to go with some voltage drop mixed in there.

Very interesting how those work. Tony D'Amore designed them while he was still at RF.
