If not, no big deal. Just trying to help people who enjoy car audio.

No worries. I get it. I am the same way. I hate going into stores and being hawked by sales people. If I can help you out, I will. If I can't, I will just read posts for my own entertainment.
Just glad to be involved and communicate with the people that actually use car audio every day.

Its very rare to see larger companies like mtx, rf, kicker, ect have any type of public relations like people like you. Maybe more companies will catch on and develop more equipment based on the consumers request. Not just for maximum profit. :-)

Here's a question for ya guys. I recently had the professional help of a buddy of mine and we (mostly he) got my amped tuned a lot better than how I had it previously. Now that it's on a better tune, I can crank it a bit more comfortably, which has caused some new obnoxious rattles. The main one is the lock on the sliding rear window. The clamp part seems to not like the bass too much, but adhesive padded 3m tape is too thick to work. What woke some of you guys try?

Maybe try to put some dynamat under the carpet on the back wall of the cab underneath the near window. Or solid back glass. Problem solved haha.
I'm gonna need to do a little dynamat myself. My ohc just got shaken loose by my L7s. I have it taped to the headliner at the moment.

Re: Show Your System
I used fat mat and double lined by back wall. Helped alot with vibrations. It still rattles when its cold outside, but not nearly as bad as before, and TBH I think its because of my exhaust more than the sa8

My rear view has been a tiny bit loose from the trucks age, so it's really easy to move. My sub has about rendered it useless. That little 300 watt does a decent amount of work! I gorilla glued the mirror pivot joint to where I need it until the new one I ordered gets here. Before when I started the truck the mirror would be fine and after my 15 minute drive home it would be pointed almost straight down.
