I put both negatives for the LEDs in my amps ground input and the positives in the + speaker output

Nothing fancy, but it sure as sh!t replaces the dead factory 6 disc that was in it:

Actually, the Excelon line isn't bad at all.
The install kit doesn't look quite right. Most single DIN kits have the pocket space to be placed either above or below the headunit.

There is a plate over the pocket. It is under the head unit.

Mine has a plate but no pocket which I'm glad because usually the pockets look ugly. This is a simple clean look.

Oh well, maybe I'm just used to it. My dad got an aftermarket stereo installed a way long time ago (very early 2000's) and this has been in there since. It's what I grew up seeing, so when I joined here and saw all of the pocket kits I didn't think those looked right.

Are they round Solo Classic 12" or square L3, L5, L7 ? Are they DVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm ?
