I believe it's a 12V DC, which to my knowledge is useable. Is this true? And if so would I have to modify it or anything? And should I put a fuse inline if I did that?
Nonononinononinononinibftygffft. Power should come directly from the battery

Go on ebay and check out Cadance 4ga wire. Great stuff for the price.

I'm just gonna buy 8ga wire from Wal Mart. It's $10.00/20' or so and it's by my house and I can have it today. Thanks guys.

Just want to make sure you know to run your power wire and your RCAs on opposite sides of the truck and if you use zipties with the RCAs be careful not to make them too tight just snug them up otherwise you could damage the cable.

Oh and make sure you use a good ground to bare metal for the amp ground wire.

It's not much at all to take everything out, I was planning on the damn amp getting here today but it got delayed and won't be here until tomorrow. I'm just going to install the deck and possibly the speakers today and do the sub and amp down the road like next week with my girlfriends brother who knows lots about this.

I'm just saying get those two wires out of the way now. Less pain in the ass later imo

My setup:

2 Boss Audio Phantom 2300watts (obviously not what they run)

2 Alpine V-Power 500w Monoblocks.

1 Sound Quest Cap

Ran by a Kenwood deck that I cannot remember the model name. The box is a bit beat from being moved around a lot, but she still pounds harder than ever!
