Good to go!

thanks! when you say duct tape the seams do you mean tape the seams on the inside or outside and also should i put the resin on both the inside an outside of the box even if I have already put calk on the inside

Ah, I had assumed you didn't caulk the box. I figured you had just finished gluing it and still had leaks. No matter, you could certainly still resin it.
I would tape all the outside seams and seal the inside. I don't think you'll gain a whole lot from doing the outside also other than creating a nice smooth finish that is easy to paint, but by all means go ahead if you so desire!

I bought the headunit from Crutchfield. It was $20 more than amazon had it, but it comes with the wiring harness and a lifetime warranty along with free shipping and no tax for California which is huge. I bought the subwoofer and box off eBay. A seller had been selling this $120 sub for $51, and the box was only $10, rather than buying the MDF and the carpet to make my own. It also comes with all the wiring and everything. The speakers are from amazon, although I may return them to get some infinity's. all out the door I'm in only $357 w/o an amp, which I can easily score for $130 or less.
