Re: Show Your System
Uncle G Dawg likey.
----------
Dig the Fs of ~27 hz. Dang. Dialed the amp down some ? I bet the sub can actually handle the 800 watts RMS with a 25 hz subsonic filter and lowpassed @ 80 hz, however. Luv the variable subsonic filter.

Holy small port batman lol try running about 14-15 sq in per cube with that sub tuned to 34hz and it'll be like day and night difference.

If I made the port any wider it would have been too long and I didn't want to put another bend in it. These are the box specs. It's tuned to 34hz.
I got the carpet put on today. Just waiting on the wiring kit for the amp now.

Re: Show Your System
I apologize I didn't see that was a 10in. I was thinking it was a 12. lol The port to box volume is correct but I would try to get a better height to width ratio for the port next time. Its real easy to make the port even with the height so it eliminates having to deal with making side for the port but i would've honestly shortened the box, and widened it to yield the same volume but that'll get the port shorter and wider as well. You don't want the port too thin because that'll choke the subs response even if its a proper ratio.

Yeah it sucked, but it had to be done, and I just thought if I wanted to get some intact door panels there's always pull a part. I'll come up with a way to make them more finished looking.

Dude. You should have got some speakers that fit in the first place, or sent them back when you found they would fit. Could they not be bottom mounted ? You see now why I was recommending 6x8's ?
