He was serious. Lucky for him I'm too nice of a person to do something like that. I have a feeling lots of people around here (my physical here, but the forums too now that I think about it) are like him though... All Kicker everything.
But seriously. The Polk DXI 8" that was there made almost more sound than the 2 12" Kickers there. The 12" DXI definitely matched if not exceeded the sound.

Yep, those places are paid a premium to push substandard stuff. Polk or Alpine blows Kicker away. Alot of brands blows Kicker away bigtime.

Re: Show Your System
my experience with kicker subs at least my 10 inch kicker sub is that they are power hungry to come alive. Now I dont know if this is something with the current amp I am using its not the best all I know is that I need to turn up the gain noticeable and tweak the bass boost a little for my kicker sub to come alive. My deck has 2.5v output so maybe thats why I dont know. I just feel my kicker sub wants a good 250 watts rms to come alive or more.

Source/head/wiring/amp/EQ settings can any or all make a huge difference, even if it's a 50-150 watt RMS Kicker sub only getting 100 watts RMS.

So your sub is actually getting a good 70-75 watts rms. That's not much. But it powers it alright (sound-wise)?

Great. I keep it on 3 or 4 out of 6 bass level. Even with rap its awesome. If i turn it up to 6 i still get some vibration in my doors ect witch i hate.

That's a good combo. Kicker subs like headroom.

Pretty sure that MTX does 200 watts RMS 2 4 ohms, bridged. I could always be wrong.

Actually, it does 150 watts RMS @ 4 ohms, bridged, which is what the sub is rated at.

Now that i got 90% of surrounding vibrations gone ill try to get a video. But since ill be recording with my phone ill have to just play the radio.
Id recommend my setup to anyone. Its simple, small, and not to high up in price.

I highly recommend you set the volume on the headunit to 75-90% of total, set all EQ and crossovers where you mostly use them, turn up bass level full, reset sub amp gain with a 50 hz tone.

In my door i mostly used some gorilla glue. Mine was just at the bottom. But in my ext. cab sides i stuffed foam up in there. I also stapled all my carpet down on the box more.
