Re: Show Your System
Yeah, I've had it three weeks and I love 90% of it. I just wish I could get it as dim as my dash lights, the dimmer setting on lowest is still too bright.
I do love the handsfree calling feature, though. In 1999ish my dad got a motorola handsfree setup for his truck with a mic on the dash and a speaker in the center console, and I loved the idea of it so much, I've been looking to get something like it ever since.
EDIT: I wish we had pandora in Canada.

Re: Show Your System
The Pandora control with Android is way cool, too. No wires and full control.

We sell a lot of this one and the X50bt. Actually, the X50 has been our best seller all year by a fair margin. We've sold out of it multiple times and that never happens... unless a supplier is out or during Christmas of course.

Just finished putting my new system in today. I have 2 Memphis 10's in a wedge box behind the back seats. The box goes the whole way across the back of the cab then I have 2 12" kicker L7's in a sealed box. Right now I only have one Memphis 500 Watt monoblock amp which I have hooked up to the 2 memphis's which are wired to a 1 ohm single load. The kickers are wired down to a 2 ohm single load so I plan on getting atleast a 1500 Watt monoblock amp for them. I'm running 0 gauge power and ground wire, tsunami RCA cables and 8 gauge speakers wire. Component door speakers running off the Alpine headunit. I was very suprised how hard those 2 10's hit off that small of an amp I can't wait to get an amp for the kickers then hopefully upgrade to a bigger amp for the memphis's.

Re: Show Your System
Are the Memphis 10's in a ported box ? Depending on the type music you listen to most, you should use 1 box or the other, but not both. You will end up with more frequency cancellation than actual bass you hear. It will be next to impossible to get both boxes and amps EQ'd, lowpassed, etc., the same.

Both boxes are sealed. I got both amps matched up pretty good in a friends system. You could only hear a difference at a few different frequency's. I'm hoping I can get these amps close. I would put the kickers in the box with the memphis's but I don't think that would be enough air space

Re: Show Your System
I would use the best box and the best amp and sell the other box and amp.

I have to calculate air space of the box behind the seat and make sure its big enough for all 4. I'd probably sell all the amps and buy a good one. I don't have one right now that could power all 4

NO, do not put all 4 subs in 1 box. It is obvious you do not know what you are doing or talking about. Take some good free advice.

OK I wont put them in one box. The other 2 are already in a box so ill leave those and the kickers are in a box but it doesn't fit on the floor so ill have to find another way I guess

Build a box yourself, or get someone else to, it'll get better results than a prefab box, more fitting for your truck by your own input of dimensions, you can put all 4 in the same box, you aren't supposed to because the speakers will be competing with each other, but if you go to any audio competitions, you won't see many people using separate boxes.

That will work yes, but it would be even better if you made one box, then put dividers between each speaker. Its ideal if you can get them all in their own "box" or chamber as id call it. It would probably benefit you more to separate each one, than to have .25 cu ft more of airspace
