OK smartypants, but when your sub slaps itself to death from trying to play freqs below it's tuning, you will wish you had a subsonic filter no more than 5 hz below that tuning.
What you are saying is that the sub can handle 3000 watts RMS.

Yeah i did some reading up on that, gonna have to get something to do some low pass filtering for me.
In SPL burps yes, it handled around 3kw.

Pretty much every time I've seen an SA-8 setup, the amp gives 900-1500 good RMS to one. They take it all day. If I gave it the suggested 600 watts RMS I would feel like I was underpowering it. That's why it's my favorite small size sub. That and it moves hella air.

This. Steve Meade is a partner with Rockford Fosgate. He uses RF amps and drivers, and his own line of Ascendant Audio subs. He was the first to own a 3sixty.3, before it was released publicly.

You have the LPF. You need a subsonic filter.
