Yeah that was my concern. It would be horrible to get one bashed in.

Yes, your mic does handle bass alot better than most. The system sounds good ! Do you have the tweeters attenuated down ? Did you use a DMM to set the gains, and did you use 100 watts for the figures ?
The tweeters are neutral right now. I read that a lot of people turned them down at first but I like a really crisp sound so it's fine with me.

Oh, and your subwoofer isn't wired parallel, your amp output is bridged to the subwoofer, unless you are saying it is a DVC 8 ohm, then you could have both.
No that's what I meant. I went by this diagram.

I ordered from Amazon, because at the time they were a better price than elsewhere, of course this fluctuates, but I would have never ordered from Crutchfield because they are $100 more there. I knew the MDF would space it some, and I have seen it used before, but I didn't know it was going to space it that much. Otherwise I would have just ordered some plastic brackets. I just thought the MDF would be nice and solid compared to some plastic.

I thought I read a bout mdf in the doors, yea man you may have spaced it out to much. Anyway though I think if you put the grilles over it then yours would be shittin'. I think u should drill the holes on the door And mount the crossover visible too.

And LOL at 20 dollar door panel. I need that!

And in my opinion the mdf panel is better than my plastic.

The grilles look really nice. A good metallic silver with lots of fleck and a shiny gloss coating. I guess that's what I'll do then.

Does anyone know anything about this sub? And what would be a good box for it? I built one just messing around and it sounds good with the windows open but gets a lot quieter when they're closed. It's an older Memphis 12. The box is 30" long 19" high 6" wide at the top then 10" wide at the bottom. I want a smaller box so if anyone could give me some dimensions or point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated

Anyone had luck with a dual front firing sub box with the port on the passenger side?

^^Unsure what you mean as passenger side, do you mean sub forward port forward/ port on passenger side, or sub forward port side/ on passenger side?
I currently have 2 10" Kicker Comp 10" in an Atrend 12" H x 30" W x 15" D single chamber center port tuned around 50hz with subs facing forward and port right behind the center console ( I have 99xlt ext cab).
Hmmm.....It'll rattle ya brain. Move the mirrors a little. Its powered by a 07 model RF t800-4 on the rear with each sub seeing 185wrms.

The BIG BASS guys are telling me Sub forward port up is the best.

If that's a sealed enclosure its way too big. If it built with 3/4" MDF its 1.88 cuft. That's probably a good ported size I guess. I really know nothing of the older speakers.

Maybe a sealed enclosure at .6-1.0 cuft would be about right? Say 16" H x 20" W x 6"D1 x 8"D2 which is .8 cuft with 3/4" MDF.

You need an amp for thos RF subs. I doubt that crunch amp is doing enough for them.

Yeah it's ported but I just cut out the pieces for a box that's 14" H 25" W 6"D1 9.5"D2, so should I keep it sealed? I had that other box sealed at first and man it sounded like crap.

Maybe I'll put it 22"W so it's under 1cuft
