There ya go regular cab folks, a box that fits behind the seat.
I like this setup. Can easily be done with a 4 channel amp under the seat running a component set in the doors and the sub behind the seat. Best idea for sound quality.
A 100x4 amp like this - http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777M410....html?tp=35782 has plenty of power for all 3 speakers.

Very good job. Can you get a picture with the seats up? I could add this to the list of future possibilities as long as the seat doesn't move up too horribly much. I'm 6'0 and I've gotta work the pedals

Any good subwoofer enclosure is made with 3/4" MDF.
There is no 'low' amp gain. Depends on the input. The amp gain is simply matching the input from the source to the output of the amp to the load.

Well, thanks for your concern. It's been two weeks now and the amp hasn't gotten any warmer than "luke". Runs as cool or cooler than previous amps Iv'e had, regardless of the mounting position.
I guess the laws of physics cease to exist in my back seat.

I would say as long as you aren't pounding the mess out of it for an extended period of time it should be fine. If you want to go ham you can just open it up for some air flow.

If you didn't have your seat leaning back like Cheech...you could probably get another couple clicks. Lol
