If you want 2 subwoofers in 1 box, sealed or ported, be sure they are in their own seperate chambers, identical, and powered by the same amp.

Good job. Those Kenwood 6x8's really surprise me. I'm not big on Kenwood, but those are surprisingly nice soundiing and performing speakers. What are your highpass and lowpass filters set at, and are you using the headunit filters or the amp filters ?

I have them both set at 100hz through the head unit's filters.

Probably should seperate them so you don't have cancellation at the overlapping frequencies. Like 125 HP and 100 LP or 100 HP and 80 LP. Mine system is VERY similar to yours and it is 125 HP and 80 LP. Then your amp is set on full range or filters off, right ? The headunit filters are definitely better to use.

So until I order all of my new stuff, this is what I'm rocking:

Yep. One Polk Audio 6x8. ONE! It's so puny D: I decided to put it in the passenger door so that the sound comes at me, bro!

But you know, I guess it's a good thing I saved it from before because the other alternative is earbuds.

LOL. Rock It !

Seriously ... don't go cheap. Get some quality stuff in there. More Polks would be good, properly amped.

I'll try 100 HP and 80 LP and ya, all of the filters on the amp are off.

Actually I'm set on some Polk components for the doors, amped. They're the db6501's. I'm so excited!

Do you have 100 watts RMS each for them ? They can handle more than that, properly highpassed.

IIRC there will be 125 going to each one. Lo/hi pass filters will be up to the amp if it has them because my head unit doesn't. The most tuning I can do with mine is adjustment of bass/mid/treble. I wish it had more...

Gonna be hard to adjust a little knob that goes from 60 hz to 13000 hz. You will probably just need to set the HPF on channels 1&2 about 12 oclock and the LPF on channels 3&4 about 11 oclock and go from there. Those 6.5" midwoofers aren't gonna like any low bass under around 120 hz, especially before they are broke in good.
