Not the best thing to do but you couldve had the radio on and touched the two wires together, if they didn't work one way then just do the other, normally orange/red is positive

Re: Show Your System
Quick question, I have a Kenwood KAC-8105D Amp and I was wondering if there are any amp remotes that work with that specific model? I want to be able to control the sub without adjusting my door speakers as well.

Re: Show Your System
I have no idea how it hooks up. I have one 10in Kenwood KFC-W2513PS subwoofer hooked up to it.

I don't see a bass knob port, your other option is an external equalizer, that has subwoofer outputs that would go to the amp. I just got a Clarion EQS746 myself since my bass knob quit working.

Re: Show Your System
My set up isn't to crazy but still hits over 100 dbs all day. It consists 2 12" Kicker Comp CVR'S in a center ported box powered by a 1600 Watt Lighting Audio amp hooked to a basic Kenwood head unit.

So you have the amp turned down so they aren't getting 800 watts each, correct ?
