Standard is 95 amps, mine is evidently 130, so I should be good unless I go hog-wild, and seeing as how I would like to keep my sense of hearing...heh. I'll be going with getting that little 4 channel Rockford Fosgate amp to clear out the signal to the door coaxial speakers, and swapping out the factory amp for something sufficient to power that 10" sub. I'll post pics once I get the whole system rigged up! Thanks again.

You wouldn't 'NEED' a capacitor even if you only have a 95 amp alternator. How do you know the specs on the stock subwoofer ? If you know, please enlighten us. How do you know what amp to power it with if you don't know the continuous power it will handle or the impedance of the voice coil(s) ?

Hi I'm GLH and amps are not a measure of power so you're wrong. It doesn't matter if I understand what you mean because you used the wrong terminology so I just thought it would be really great if I called you out on it.

Re: Show Your System
You don't need a capacitor. NEVER use a capacitor. Upgrade your wiring instead.

Re: Show Your System
GLH, chief, I don't know what I'm doing, I'm used to building computers and I'm pretty damn good at it, but car audio is new territory for me, hense why I'm researching everything and seeking the advice of professionals. As for the tremor amp? All I know is that its multichannel, that's it. The subwoofer? It's 10 inches...and beyond that, I got nothing. I might just be safer swapping that 10" pioneer for a 10" rockford fosgate punch series and use that p300-1 to power it. Cable size wise, I'm using 10 awg on the mini 4 channel and 8 awg on the sub amp.

The "just might be safer" is the best bet. That Pioneer system isn't any better than any other 'Premium' sound system like JBL, Infinity, Sony, Rockford Fosgate, Kicker, etc., the auto companies use to help sell vehicles.

Re: Show Your System
Just installed a DD HU to replace the OEM deck. A lot of measuring and cutting. Then some more measuring and more cutting of the center dash. All in all it come out great.
Removed the rubberized coating of the dash using brake fluid. Made it a lot easier, almost a wipe off procedure. Sanded it down with some 600 grit and painted with Krylon Fusion Gloss Black.
