You're looking around $341 shipped for the subs, $180 with free shipping for an Onyx 1500, $521 and you'll be pretty damn loud.

Or you can go with a slightly cheaper sub like a pair of Sundown E or Audioque SDC 2.0 on something like an Onyx 1k or something. Either way you'll be much happier than you would with the Kicker Comps. I'm not in much of a mood to really explain the details behind it, but look into it for yourself.

Dude listen to these guys. They are obviously telling you those subs are good. In my opinion kicker comps are pretty entry level. Plus 3 12's seem a little much for the back seat of a ranger. Good luck putting anything else back there.

ok, so, better for like 2 Sundown E series 12's? could I run them off my current amp? OR could I still (under $410) afford an amp that will run em?

The 2 Obsidian 12's will come ALOT closer than 3 Kicker Comps or even 3 JL W1-2-3-4-5-6-blahblahblahblah (Only JL sub I really care for at all is the W7 and it's WAY out of your price range... it's not really a volume sub anyway, but they sound VERY clean).

Obsidian, Sundown SA, Skar VVX, Audioque SDC2.5, Ascendant Audio Arsenal, DAD KMH, etc are all solid 2.5" voice coil subs that would work well mated with a quality 1500 watt amp. Any bigger than 1500 you'll be needing to upgrade electrical so I'd stop at that point. Pair them with a good custom box and you'll be impressed.
