It's Cole Ford in Winchester.
I had my box built at car stereo warehouse. It was $285 installed and that was wiring everything so it could be cheaper if they just built the box. I'm sure Autosound and Trailblazers can build them too, between those two I'd take Autosound. I don't know if Dennis Car Stereo is still open, I heard it closed, but I think he would be the cheapest. And all those places are on new circle road. I haven't heard very good things about Lucky's so I would avoid them.

I have an opportunity to pick up a infinity 311a for 75. What would be the best way to set it up with an alpine 1043 sub.

Is your 1043 the DVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm version ? Type R ?
That amp might be enough for the sub if it is the DVC 4 ohm so it can be wired as a 2 ohm load. The amp is 116 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms or 312 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. Would probably work best in a 1.5 cu.ft. box, port-tuned to 35 hz.

OK,that was bugging me.Dennis is closed.I've already learned my lesson with Lucky's.I normally tint my windows legaly but for the Ranger I wanted 5%.Lucky's did it for me,but I could have done a better job myself.So I took it back and they redid it.It still looked like crap.They did the front window in two pieces and they didn't even meet.There was a two millimeter gap from top to bottom.lol.I could see it 20 feet away from the truck.I ended up taking it to my normal guy(Classic Tint)and talked him into just doing the front and rear windows(5%).
I'll probably stop by Autosound today and get a price for a box that'll house two 12" and a 15" for my car.Thanks.

I can finally post mine lol JL 10w3 in a sealed box with a alpine pdx5 running 400RMS to the sub. Door speakers are not hooked up yet but the wires are ran.

Looks real nice. How is the PDX-5 doing 400 watts RMS to the sub ? It is rated at 75x4 + 300x1.
