oh I was. I guess I just assumed. so does that mean two of your speakers are powered off of the head unit?

2 speakers per channel is my guess. That's what I did.

Why would it, a heat sink works regardless of the way its mounted. I like the idea of it on a rood, the only issue is when you get roof flex. I've see a 10kw amp mounted under the Hood of a vehicle successfully.

But I have two amps as you can see, the one on the headliner powers my kickers and the one mounted on my box powers my 4 6x9's. That upside down alpine has never over heated once. It is bolted to a steel plate that is between the headliner and my roof so roof flex is no problem. Iv had this setup for over a year and still no problems!
